Apogee Energy uses artificial intelligence tools to support parts of our business, including content creation, customer communications, and operational analysis. We are committed to using AI responsibly, transparently, and in a way that respects the people we work with.
Human oversight. AI tools assist our team but do not replace human judgement. Decisions affecting customers, contracts, or safety are reviewed by qualified staff.
Accuracy. We take reasonable steps to verify AI-generated content before publishing it, but errors can occur. If you spot something that looks incorrect on our site, please contact us so we can correct it.
Data privacy. We do not feed personal or confidential customer data into AI tools without appropriate safeguards, and we comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in how we handle any data used alongside AI systems.
Transparency. Where AI has materially generated content (such as draft text or imagery) presented to the public, we aim to disclose this where it’s relevant to the audience’s understanding.
No deception. We do not use AI to mislead customers, impersonate real people, or misrepresent facts about our products, services, or operations.
Continuous improvement. As AI technology and regulation evolve, we will review and update this policy accordingly.
